FAQ's

How much does it cost to play?

Depending on what league you join there could be a small joining fee or it may free. Weekly Match fees vary across the board depending on which league you enter.

The weekly match fee is payable to the referee in full before your game each week.

What happens if I haven’t got the full match fee can we still play and pay it next week?

Unfortunately we operate on a zero tolerance policy to short payments. We implement a ‘NO PAY NO PLAY’ policy so if you fail to pay the full amount then you will be unable to play.

Is it just 1 game a week?

Yes it is. You play one game every week at the scheduled kick off time which is allocated on the season’s fixtures.

How long does a season last?

Depending on the league size a season will be based on playing all opponents twice i.e.an 8 team league will last 14 weeks. Please note your team will be automatically entered into the next season following the conclusion of the current season.

Is there multiple divisions?

On leagues where there are multiple divisions there will be promotion and relegation.

How many players can be used in one game?

You can have a squad of up to eight players (5aside) and up to nine players (6aside) on a league night. Subs throughout the game are roll on roll off meaning you can make unlimited changes.

Do I have to register every player?

No. We use a flexi squad system whereby you can use a different set of players each week if you wish.

Can I have specific kick off times?

We like to be fair to every team in the league but you can give us your preference on kick offs for the new season and we will do our best to accommodate you.

How long are the matches?

Depending on the league format game duration is either 28 minutes with 2 minutes allowed for turnaround at half time and at full time or 38 minutes with 2 minutes allowed for turnaround at half time and at full time.

What is a Challenge Game?

A Challenge Game will appear if on a rare occasion we have a space within that league. Don’t worry though because when you are scheduled to play a Challenge Game you will have a fixture arranged. You turn up and play the game as normal, but you will gain an automatic 5-0.

And unlike other league providers we know the frustration that comes along with having to play a friendly game. So as good will gesture you will only have to pay 50% of your match fee for the friendly game that you play

What happens if my opponents don’t show up?

No need to worry you will always get a game arranged for you. And unlike other league providers we know the frustration that comes along with having to play a friendly game. So as good will gesture you will only have to pay 50% of your match fee for the friendly game that you play, plus you’ll get a 5-0 win and 2 points for the league table.

If we don’t get a game one week, what will happen?

If in the extremely very rare event that you don’t get a game you will receive a call from the league manager explaining the situation along with an apology.

What happens if a team leaves the league?

In the unlikely event of this happening then we will replace them with a new team that we have waiting to join the leagues.

What happens if our team can’t play our fixture?

If you can’t make your game and you haven’t given us 5 days’ notice you will unfortunately be charged the full match fee and lose the game 5-0.

What if we are on holiday for a week?

If you have a substantial amount of players away to constitute cancelling your fixture then to avoid getting charged you will need to give a minimum of 7 days’ notice. Obviously the more notice you give the better as we will have to arrange a fixture for your opponents in your absence.

What happens if my team wants to leave the league?

We understand that you may need to leave the league. So in order to leave the league you need to give us two weeks’ notice in order to not be charged 2 weeks match fees.

Do we need to bring a ball?

No. We supply all equipment for the league

Who referees?

We have fully qualified referees and event staff at each and every league that we run.

Do we have to wear a team kit or matching colours?

Ideally a team kit would be preferable but as long as you have the same colour tops on that will be fine.

Failing that we provided bibs at the league.

Do I need to wear shin pads?

We strongly advise that you wear them but it is entirely your decision.
